Aerobic Classes

Aerobics is a system of physical conditioning involving exercises strenuously performed so as to cause marked temporary increase in respiration and heart rate.

Some of the more popular aerobics classes at Fitness First include, Pilates, Step, Cardio Mix, BodyPump, Kick Boxing Aerobics, and Salsa Aerobics. As always, there is never a charge to sign-up for an aerobics or cycling class.

All aerobic classes are one hour in length, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about our current aerobic classes by browsing the class descriptions or search for a particular class using our database of current classes and instructors.

A low impact high energy cardio workout blending Latin African and Caribbean dance.

FIT - (added 8/27/2008)
Functional Integrated Training Challenge yourself beyond traditional strength training with this total body functional strength training class . We'll challenge your muscular endurance as well as balance and coordination by moving through all planes of motion with multi-joint and compound exercises.

Body Blast - (added 8/26/2008)
This class starts in the group training studio with 30 minutes of fat blasting strength and toning drills followed by a 30 minute high intensity ride in the cycling studio. Fast paced and tons of fun

Tai Chi - (added 5/25/2008)
A Chinese form of self defense based on Taoist principles that combines physical and spiritual unification through discipline and dedication. Get a great workout while learning self defense!
