Larry Braithwaite has been named the new manager of our Leesburg, VA club location.

October 10th, 2008 - Reston, Virginia
Fitness First will be the Washington area sponsor of the first American BALANCE trial and will be donating the Reston facility for the orientation and education sessions, as well as personal trainers to work with BALANCE participants.

September 19th, 2008 - Falls Church, Virginia
Ian Bradley has been named the new manager of our Falls Church location.

September 4th, 2008 - Reston, Virginia
The group exercise floor will be open for classes Tues, Sept,.16th. The free weight section is set to have a new rubber floor installed the week of Sept., 15th.

Kyle Glasgow has been named the new manager of our club in Boca Raton, Florida. Kyle was previously an employee of Fitness First in Maryland.

Dee Thomas has been named the new manager of our Chantilly, Virginia club.

May 6th, 2008 - Frederick, MD (Festival Center)
Important notice for all members of the Frederick, MD club located in the Festival Center. We have decided to close the doors to our Weis location, in mid-June, and consolidate everything into one club that will be our largest location in the metro area. Read more.

April 13th, 2008 - Olney, Maryland
Get a head start on your weekend workout! The Olney club location has extended hours on the weekends. The club now opens at 6 am on Saturday and 7 am on Sunday effective immediately.

April 1st, 2008 - Germantown, Maryland
The upgrades at the Germantown location are in full swing. Additions to the club include a new rubber floor and wall covering, as well as upgraded equipment and free weights. New flat screen HD TVs have been installed in the cardio room, complete with surround sound and TV monitors on each piece of cardio equipment. Still to come is an upgrade of the childcare section of the club, and remodeled locker rooms.

March 6th, 2008 - Frederick, Maryland
The expansion at Frederick, Westridge will be complete on April 30th. Expansion will encompass brand new and expanded locker rooms, as well as an additional 7,000 sq ft of space which will be used for a new cardio room and a 2nd exercise studio.
